Today’s date is May 10, 2023. It is well documented that Tradovate is one of the brokerages elite uses for their funded accounts. I recently passed the 250k fast track evaluation with elite on May 09, 2023 tradovate had issues and Elite issued a statement telling traders not to trade due to Tradovate issues. Some of those issue included lag and orders not being executed correctly or at all. Come May 10, 2023 my first funded day with my 250k account and I run into these issues, perhaps it was my pc or perhaps it was the browser or tradovate itself. I will never know, nevertheless I blew my funded account. I emailed Elite and explained my situation they looked into and confirmed with tradovate along with other sources that there were no known issues today (May 10, 2023). I am extremely grateful because the elite team decided as a one time courtesy they would reset my FUNDED account. They didn’t have to majority of business would not have nor do I expect them to. The forms signed during funded account or evaluation account are quite clear what elite will or will not be responsible for, this situation is an expectation but in my opinion it just goes what type of company elite is.
